Why work with a Melbourne life Coach?

You might already know what you “should” do — but something keeps getting in the way.

That’s where coaching comes in.

Clients often come to me when they feel:

• Stuck, frustrated, or unsure of their next move
• Caught in overthinking or self-doubt
• Ready for change, but lacking clarity or direction

Coaching helps you move forward faster —
with clarity, confidence, and support.

My approach to coaching

My aim isn’t for you to depend on coaching.
It’s for you to leave with tools you can use for life, and repeat as a meta skill for navigating future moments and cross-roads ahead.

You’ll develop:

• Clear thinking and decision-making
• Emotional awareness and self-trust
• Practical tools for navigating challenges
• The ability to move forward without second-guessing yourself

This is about building something sustainable — not just short-term motivation.

Life Coach Melbourne – Frequently Asked Questions

What does a life coach do?

A life coach helps you get clear on what you want, understand what’s getting in the way, and move forward with confidence.

In our work together, we combine structured conversations with practical tools so you can stop overthinking and start making aligned decisions.

How do I know if I need a life coach?

Most people reach out when they feel stuck, unsure of their next step, or ready for change but don’t know where to start.

If you’re circling the same thoughts, second-guessing yourself, or feeling disconnected from your direction, coaching can help you get clarity and momentum.

Can life coaching help with career direction or change?

Yes — this is one of the most common reasons people come to coaching.

Whether you’re considering a career shift, feeling unfulfilled in your current role, or wanting work that feels more aligned, coaching helps you clarify what you actually want and how to move toward it.

What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist?

Therapy often focuses on healing the past and supporting mental health.

Life coaching is more focused on the present and future — helping you make decisions, take action, and create meaningful change.

If you’re unsure which is right for you, you can read more in my blog: Do I need coaching or therapy?

What happens in the first coaching session?

Your first session is a space to slow down and get clear.

We’ll explore where you are now, what’s not working, and what you want to change or create. From there, we begin identifying your goals, challenges, values and the direction you want to move in. The first session with me is complimentary.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you’re working through.

Some clients come for a short period 1 or 3 months to navigate a specific decision or transition. Others stay longer 6 - 12 months to create deeper, more sustained change. You can explore different options on the coaching containers page to get an idea. Everything is customisable.

Do you offer in-person and online coaching?

Yes. Coaching is available in person / face to face in Melbourne (St Kilda, Elwood, Bayside and CBD locations) or online via Zoom.

This means you can work with me whether you’re local or based elsewhere in Australia or internationally.

What topics can I bring to coaching?

Anything that feels important to you.

Common areas include career direction, life transitions, burnout, confidence, relationships, decision-making, and creative or business projects.

Do you work with creatives, artists or self-employed clients?

Yes — many of my clients are creatives, business owners, and professionals navigating uncertainty, pressure, or creative blocks.

Coaching gives you space to think clearly, reconnect with your direction, and move forward without burning out.

Do you coach teens or young adults?

Yes. I provide life coaching for teens and young adults in Melbourne, typically online or supervised for under 18s, and in person or online for those 18 and over. Sessions are supportive, structured, and designed to help young people navigate transitions, clarify goals, build confidence, and develop life skills (decision making/career planning) in a safe environment. Parents can be de-briefed on progress toward agreed goals, such as preparing for interviews or work, moving out, or other milestones, as outset together at the start of the coaching agreement.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. Everything we discuss is completely confidential.

Stuck stops here
